Where most clients start
Deep cleaning in Atwater, Merced and Turlock
A deep clean is everything in a standard clean plus every surface a weekly routine never gets to — baseboards on hands and knees, door frames, fan blades, window tracks, degreased cabinet fronts, and the mineral film on your shower glass. 5 to 6 hrs for a 3 bed / 2 bath. One flat price, quoted before we start.
Defining the word
"Deep clean" means something specific here
Plenty of companies sell a deep clean and deliver a slow standard clean. The difference isn't effort, it's the item list — and item lists are checkable. So ours is written down and handed to you before we touch anything.
A deep clean is a one-time reset. It's not something you buy every month. Its job is to get a home back to a baseline that a standard clean can hold, which is why every new recurring client starts with one. After that the maintenance visits are fast, and the price stays honest for both of us.
Budget 5 to 6 hrs for a 3 bed / 2 bath. Larger homes and homes that haven't been cleaned in over a year run longer. We work top down, room by room, and we don't leave a room to come back to it — so you can watch the house finish in sections.
The added list
Everything in a standard clean, plus all of this
The whole standard checklist happens first — kitchen, bathrooms, all floors, dusting, beds, trash. These are the items a deep clean adds on top, and they're the ones that make a house look genuinely different.

Still not included in a deep clean
Inside the fridge ($40) — that one comes included in the move-out clean or can be added here at the published price. Five situations that call for a deep clean
The home has never been professionally cleaned
Even a tidy house collects things a homeowner never gets to — fan blades, window tracks, the top edge of doors, the grout line behind the faucet. If nobody has ever done those, they're all waiting at once, and a standard clean can't absorb them.
It's been over a year
A year is long enough for shower glass to haze permanently if you wait much longer, for kitchen cabinet fronts to build a sticky film, and for baseboards to hold dust that no longer wipes off. Annual deep cleans exist mostly to stop damage, not just to look better.
You're moving into a place
Someone else's home is now yours, and a landlord's turnover clean is rarely more than a wipe-down. If the unit is empty, look at the move-in clean instead — it adds inside cabinets, fridge and oven, which is what actually bothers people on day one.
After illness in the house
Switch plates, door handles, remotes, bathroom fixtures, and every hard surface get worked deliberately rather than in passing. We're a cleaning company, not a disinfection contractor — but the surfaces people actually touch are on the list and they get real attention.
Before you host
Holidays, a graduation, family staying a week. The things guests notice are the deep-clean items: the guest bathroom's shower glass, the baseboards in the hallway, the dust on the dining light fixture. Book two to three weeks out for a date you care about.
Before starting recurring service
Every new recurring client begins with one deep clean, then moves to standard visits at the published rate. For a 3 bed / 2 bath that's $305 once, then $149 every two weeks. If you'd rather skip it, a first standard clean is the standard rate plus 50%.
FAQ
Deep clean questions
How is this different from a standard clean, really?
A standard clean maintains surfaces you look at. A deep clean addresses surfaces you'd have to go looking for — the inside of a window track, the underside of a fan blade, the jamb of a door, the grout behind a faucet. In time, a standard clean on a 3 bed / 2 bath is 2.5 to 3 hrs and a deep clean is 5 to 6. Both come with the same written checklist so you can compare line by line before you book.
Can you get the hard water off my shower glass?
Usually, and it's included in the deep clean price. Central Valley water leaves a hardened mineral film that ordinary cleaner won't touch — we dissolve it, scrape it with a razor, then polish and squeegee. The honest limit is that glass left untreated for years can be etched, meaning the mineral has eaten into the surface. Etched glass doesn't come back. We tell you which one you have before we start.
Do you move furniture?
We clean behind and under anything one person can move safely — nightstands, chairs, a light sofa, a coffee table. We don't move beds, dressers, appliances, or anything with electronics or glass on it. If you want under a heavy piece done, slide it out before we arrive and we'll clean the space and help you slide it back.
How far ahead should I book?
A week is comfortable for most dates, two to three weeks if you're aiming at a specific holiday or an event. A deep clean is a long visit, so it takes most of a day on our schedule and there are fewer slots for it than for standard cleans. If you need one inside 48 hours we'll do our best, and that booking is +15%.
What if the house is worse than you expected?
That's why we walk it or ask for photos before quoting anything over $250. Once the number is confirmed at the door it doesn't move. If something genuinely outside a deep clean turns up — mold, pet damage, hoarding conditions — we stop, tell you, and you decide. We don't do that work, and we won't quietly bill for discovering it.
