    Paying after the clean holds the visit with a card on file. Nothing is charged when you book, and on the day you can still pay however you like — cash, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, or card. The card is there for the bill if it goes unpaid 24 hours after the visit, and we email you first. Paying online now takes 5% off: a one-time clean, which then saves no card, or the first visit of a recurring schedule, which keeps the card for the visits after. Card steps happen on Stripe's site; card numbers never touch ours, and the cancellation terms are the same: no late-cancellation fee if you cancel or move your visit at least 24 hours ahead, and inside 24 hours 50% of the visit applies. Refunds, including on a visit you paid for ahead of time, are at our discretion. Full policy.

    How the card works, and what it could ever be charged for

    Holding a card is how we put a visit on the calendar. Nothing is charged when you book, and nothing is ever charged on a schedule. You still pay for the clean when it's done, however you like — cash, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, or card — and we email you before we ever charge the card ourselves.

    Four things can go on it, and we email you before any of them. The cleaning itself, if the bill is still unpaid 24 hours after the visit. A late-cancellation or lockout fee of 50% of the visit price. A clean you ask us to put on the card. And, on a recurring schedule only and once only, the difference between the recurring rate and the one-time rate if you stop before your second standard visit — because the recurring discount is earned over those first two visits. After the second visit, nothing is ever billed back.

    If you tell us something isn't right within 24 hours of the visit, the clock stops: nothing goes on the card until we've come back and made it right.
